This is a particulary welcome update for multilanguage websites as language menu-item association is supported.
You can make a url not redirect by adding rol=no to the url, which is great for links from email newsletters etc.
This update contains a workaround for a conflict with Akeeba's AdminTools, so you are adviced to do this update.

Version 2.1.0 has an option to ignore the set redirects when user logs in after trying to open a restricted page and is all ready for Joomla 2.5.
