Menu Content
Installing component Frontend-User-Access
  1. Go to the Frontend-User-Access page.
  2. Download the component.
  3. Go to 'Extensions > Install/Uninstall'.
  4. Click 'browse' and select the file which you just downloaded.
    The file name starts with 'com_frontend_user_access'.
  5. Click 'Upload File & Install'.
    The file is being uploaded and installed.
 
Installing plugins for Frontend-User-Access
  1. Go to the Frontend-User-Access page.
  2. Download all 3 plugins: 'system' and 'content' and 'user'.
    free-version only 'system' and 'content'.
  3. Go to 'Extensions' > 'Install/Uninstall'.
  4. Click 'browse' and select the file which you just downloaded.
    The file names start with 'plugin_frontend_user_access_system'.
  5. Click 'Upload File & Install'.
    The file is being uploaded and installed.
  6. Go to 'extensions' > 'plugin manager'.
  7. Click on plugin 'system - Frontend-User-Access'.
  8. At 'Enabled:' select 'Yes'.
  9. At 'Order:' select 'Last'.
  10. Do the above steps 4-8 again for 'plugin_frontend_user_access_content' and 'plugin_frontend_user_access_user'.
 
Installing the menu module Frontend-User-Access
  1. Go to the Frontend-User-Access page.
  2. Download the menu module.
  3. Go to 'Extensions > Install/Uninstall'.
  4. Click 'browse' and select the file which you just downloaded.
    The file name starts with 'mod_frontend_user_access_menu'.
  5. Click 'Upload File & Install'.
    The file is being uploaded and installed.
  6. Go to 'Extensions' > 'Module Manager' > 'frontend user access'.
  7. Set enabled -> 'yes'.
  8. Click 'save'.
