If you have the pro-version download the patch at 'my extensions'.
- Backup you configuration-file to any other location then
the com_frontend_user_access-folder (because that will get deleted on
uninstall). When upgraded you can overwrite the new configuration-file.
You can find it here:
administrator/components/com_frontend_user_access/configuration.php
- uninstall component Frontend-User-Access version 2.0.1
- install component Frontend-User-Access version 2.1.0
- uninstall the 3 plugins:
Frontend-User-Access (content) version 2.0.0
Frontend-User-Access (system) version 2.0.2
Frontend-User-Access (user) version 1.0.0
- install the 3 plugins
Frontend-User-Access (content) version 2.1.0
Frontend-User-Access (system) version 2.1.0
Frontend-User-Access (user) version 1.1.0
- Enable all 3 plugins
- If you made a backup of your configuration file, paste the file back.
- Login as a superadministrator
- Go to the Frontend-User-Access configuration
- Click on apply (this will update some tables and the configuration-file
All restrictions will be saved as the database tables do not get deleted on uninstall.

- uninstall component Frontend-User-Access version 1.0.1
- install component Frontend-User-Access version 1.0.2
- uninstall module Frontend-User-Access version version 1.0.1
- install module Frontend-User-Access version version 1.0.2
- uninstall plugin Frontend-User-Access_content version 1.0.1
- install plugin Frontend-User-Access_content version 1.0.2
- uninstall plugin Frontend-User-Access_system version 1.0.1
- install plugin Frontend-User-Access_system version 1.0.2
- open the configuration and read every option carefully. Set everything as in the old configuration.
- click 'save', to save your configuration
- if
you have a licensekey, go to 'configuration' > 'general' > 'enter
