Restrict access to a specific item within a component

Hello,

Does AUA have the ability to block access to a certain item within a component at administrator level and below?

I have noticed that commenting out those items just removes the link from the component but the url still gives access.

AUA does only restrict to whole components. Exceptions are specific articles, modules and plugins.

Joomla 2.5 got ACL, if update is an option.
