Comment no <br> possible? was created by 10frank10
Hi

Great extension. I would like to know if there is any possibility to have "new lines" in the comment text (< /br>). Or if there is even a possibility to add a wysiwyg editor?

Thanks for your reply
Frank

PS: In this link you see what I mean. All the text in the comment is in one and only line. Whereas I would like to have separated lines.

Zum Beispiel:

Grüezi
[leere Zeile / <br>]
Ich habe wie gesagt eine Frage. Und danke für Ihre Antwort.
[leere Zeile / <br>]
Mit besten Grüssen

For security, only bbcode is allowed. So even if you would use an editor (which you can't), only the bb-codes are saved and all other markup would be discarted when the comment is saved.

But I will add break
in the next version of User-Private-Page.

For now you can use this fix:
administrator/components/com_userprivatepage/helpers/userprivatepage.php
(asuming pro version) line 668
$code = str_replace($smilies[$n][1], '<img src="'.$path.'components/com_userprivatepage/images/'.$smilies[$n][0].'.png" title="'.$smilies[$n][0].'" />', $code);
			}
		}
replace with
$code = str_replace($smilies[$n][1], '<img src="'.$path.'components/com_userprivatepage/images/'.$smilies[$n][0].'.png" title="'.$smilies[$n][0].'" />', $code);
			}
		}

		//break
		$code = str_replace('[br]', '<br/>', $code);

with the above fix you can use
in comments, which will display as breaks.
In the next version there will a button for this above the comment textfield. And this will be optional in the config.

in the free version the code might be on another line number. but else it should work.

t didnt' make the </br>..

you can use
in the etxtarea which will be converted to a break. I will see if I can make normal breaks in the textarea to
on save. But thats for later, for now this fix will hopefully help you out.
